Job Description
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our team! The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience supporting small to medium networks, cloud infrastructure management, a good understanding of network security, and a desire to stay current with recent technology solutions. To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated self-starter and resourceful learner, possess strong user interaction and problem-solving skills, and be able to prioritize multiple requests and work assignments.
Job Title: System Administrator
Location: 25 Marshall Street, Canton
Pay:$75,000-95,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities
- 1st line laptop and hardware support
- 1st line alerting and escalation to endpoint vulnerability, detection, and exploitation event
- 1st line alerting and escalation of other infrastructure security events/alerts
· Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies.
· Maintain IT infrastructure including Dell laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, phone systems, and security cameras.
· Provide on-going operational support including operating systems releases, upgrades, service pack installations, bug fixes, security updates, and any system change activities.
· Interact with Corporate IT team to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
· Perform routine/scheduled audit of the systems.
· Managing, supporting, and improving existing systems.
· Maintain and assist in developing IT standards and procedures.
· Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for security events.
· Work closely with contractors and outside vendors to plan and complete projects.
· Research and implement new technologies as they align with organizational strategic goals.
- Diagnosing hardware and software problems
- Working with employees on password resets, wifi troubleshooting, and all general IT questions
- Backup solution management and maintenance
- Network management and maintenance for our Boston office
- Maintain institutional knowledge and IT documentation
· Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications
We’d love to talk with you if:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 3 years progressive, relevant IT experience as a system administrator.
· Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft systems.
· Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
· Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance monitoring tools, active directories, and virtualization.
· Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
· Understanding and working knowledge of networking configuration and troubleshooting.
· Strong working knowledge of Windows Server OS’s; deployment, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to travel to off-site locations (CT & NY).
· Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
